Big Wave Bay is the main surf beach on Hong Kong Island and can be easily reached by either private car or public transport.  For location details, go to www.centamap.com and click on Sheko. The beach is a five minute walk from the car park.  The surf school is located on the beach.  Lessons are on weekends from 9am to 11am.  Go to "The Blue Room" which is the blue beach-front restaurant, and ask for Kenny or any of the staff, and they will be happy to help you with all your needs.
